Learn how to catwalk from Asia’s Next Top Model contestant Tuti [video]

Being one of Malay ethnicity representing Malaysia on the current cycle of Asia’s Next Top Model, Tuti has gotten her fair share of criticism as of late.

She’s actually gone head on with her critics! However, having made it to a competition such as AsNTM, there is clearly much more to her than meets the eye.

Interestingly enough, modeling was not something that she aspired to delve into as a child. In fact, having studied Library Science at UiTM, she admits that she would have been a librarian, had she not stumbled into the word of modeling. In her own words, “It just sort of happened.” By a twist of fate, a test shoot with one of her seniors in university led to job offer to model and the rest, as they say, is history.

The epitome of why we should not be holier-than-thou and judge others, this Jakarta-based Malaysian model responds to her critics with professionalism and poise but watch what she said in our CampusTV interview. Despite her edgy look, Tuti possesses an infectiously bubbly personality as she relays her experience in the competition as well as throughout the rest of the interview. In fact, she even agreed to teach one of our colleagues to catwalk!

Check out the May issue of Campus Plus for the exclusive interview as well as in our School Edition for her tips on how to pose for pictures.
